Event calendar
From ATFWiki
So, you hear in-game that X event is coming up and you really want to go but then you're told that there's only so many spots and to sign up so you don't miss out...but, how do you do that?
Well, hopefully this illustrated guide will walk you through the process.
First things first, you need to be logged in. If you aren't logged into your forum account...well...it just won't work. So do it.
The next step is to go to your "User Control Panel" as shown in the following picture. (You may want to right-click on the link and open a new window or tab so you don't have to leave this guide). Once in your control panel, you're looking to "Edit Your Details". Inside of your profile, if you scroll down a goodly ways you'll see a section marked "World of Warcraft Characters." You'll want to fill this in as the example above the box shows. A quick tip is to go ahead and copy that line and paste it into the box, then change the character name at the end. You can enter in all your characters (one per line, as the directions say), since you never know when there might be a run one would want to go on. Once you've entered in your characters, you need to get to the calendar itself. You can always use the calendar link at the top where User CP was, but if the event is within the next two weeks you can just click the link at the top of the forum. Once on the event's page, fill out the form at the bottom and hit submit and presto! You've signed up.Now, signing up isn't a guarantee that there'll be room in a given event, and spots are given out on a first come basis per role (in WoW these would generally be tanking, healing and DPS) so while you might be the third person to sign up...if the two people in front of you are the same class you might not be able to bring that character. :( That'd be a bummer, so make sure to sign up as early as you know you can attend an event!
